Her Experience
While she served as Chairperson of the Board of School Trustees of Coquitlam Barb gained experience representing constituents, working with local, provincial and federal governments, communicating with the media, and monitoring a 200 million dollar budget.
Barb's community work has given her a large and diverse social network, a good understanding of the community and its needs, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Over the course of her career Barb has worked in industries such as education, technology, and health care. She has organized national conferences, chaired meetings, developed policies, and acted as liaison to companies around the world.
